I want a kitten sooooooo badly! My mom’s been after one for years; we stopped having pets of any kind a few years ago - all we had were hamsters after our dog died - and my last one bit me all the time, made me so afraid of holding him that I just stopped caring. That should never happen with pets.
I’m older now and ready for the responsibility of a pet; sis & I go to CC so we’re home a lot and I need a friend besides her! In the past my dad was pretty adamant of not getting another pet - especially not a dog or cat. It was really painful for him to put down the dog (he’d had him since before he even met my mom) and he doesn’t want us to go through that. Yes it’s sad, but it was 12 years ago! One of these days we’re just going to bring one home… I’m going to try and discuss with him to see if I can’t get past his rough exterior and appeal to his mushy heart that I know he has.
